The annual Rochester Dickensian Christmas weekend took place in Rochester Kent on 2/3 December 2006. Many characters and performers are in the High Street and Castle Gardens and take part in the daily parades and candlelight processions. Rochester has a long association with the author Charles Dickens and various festivals to celebrate take place during the year.
